I come to you at last, my internet crazy friends.
What's been happening? Hm.
First, a disclaimer: If you want details, speak to me.
Two weekends ago I visited home again. First it was the UW, and my two friend Michelle and Candice. We went to a drag show on Friday night, and boy, was that a gender-bending experience! ("Find the little man in the boat! He needs a massage!") Saturday I visited Chinatown a bit with Michelle and her sister Kasia, then went home. Home, for the first time in a month. That's a stretch for me. The next evening, Michelle, Candice, and I went to go see Hitch, and was later joined by Luan. I loved the movie. Then we went to Fred Meyers, and bought matching Hello Kitty panties! It was awesome! The next day I went back to Western... and left my keys at home. Good jorb, Rowan. Fortunately they were mailed back to me the next day, so I didn't suffer long. The week passed as it usually did, seeing friends and boyfriend. This weekend was alright. Could've been a bit happier... I need to learn to be not so clingy, and I need a reality check on my life, or lack of...
And now some song lyrics. Brought to you by good ol' David Bowie. What a cool guy.
Absolute Beginners
I've nothing much to offer
There's nothing much to take
I'm an absolute beginner
And I'm absolutely sane
As long as we're together
The rest can go to hell
I absolutely love you
But we're absolute beginners
With eyes completely open
But nervous all the same
If our love song
Could fly over mountains
Could laugh at the ocean
Just like the films
There's no reason
To feel all the hard times
To lay down the hard lines
It's absolutely true
Nothing much could happen
Nothing we can't shake
Oh we're absolute beginners
With nothing much at stake
As long as you're still smiling
There's nothing more I need
I absolutely love you
But we're absolute beginners
But if my love is your love
We're certain to succeed
If our love song
Could fly over mountains
Could sail over heartaches
Just like the films
If there's reason
To feel all the hard times
To lay down the hard lines
It's absolutely true
